Sara Denman
Hair + Makeup

Sara Denman started her career in the late eighties, inspired by her father, and renowned fashion photographer who worked with all the major brands of his time in Sweden. Sara idolized the makeup artist her father worked with, Benny Andersson. Benny took her under his wing, let her work beside him, and taught her everything he knew about being a makeup artist.
Sara began working at Avenue Modeller, and later moved to Mikaslooks, one of the biggest and most prominent agencies. There she began sharing her skills with aspiring makeup artists, just as her mentor had done for her, as a teacher at the Mikas Makeup Academy. She was overjoyed when Linkdetails, the number one agency for hair, makeup artists, approached her to join their roster in 2012.
Sara has worked with many celebrities, including Orlando Bloom, Tommy Hilfiger, Susan Sarandon, and Stella McCartney, as well as numerous well-known brands, such as Nike, L’Oreal, H&M, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson. Sara has also worked with many Swedish celebrities and brands, for both magazines and fashion shows. She is the go-to makeup artist for any celebrities visiting Stockholm.
Sara’s makeup artistry was showcased in Northern Women in Chanel, a book featuring northern celebrities and models in Chanel clothes that later became a worldwide exhibition. Sara also did the makeup for former top model Emma Sjöberg’s book about beauty.
When Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine were looking for a makeup artist in 2010, Sara came highly recommended. She has worked with them ever since, including doing the makeup for Princess Madeleine’s wedding, which she considers a great honor. Sara speaks Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and a little bit of French.
