Vanessa Shokrian originally from Newport Beach, California, left the sunny coast for New York City where she began her career at Conde Nast Publications.
Starting as a Fashion News Contributor at Lucky Magazine, Vanessa went on to work at GQ for Creative and Fashion Directors, Jim Moore and Madeline Weeks.
Under their leadership, Vanessa was schooled in the art and business of the industry and the world of wardrobe styling. Her editorial background in New York gave her the opportunity to work with such photographers as Peggy Sirota, Mark Seliger and Art Streiber, and has been an inspiration to her present day career.
Since leaving Conde Nast to embark on a freelance styling career in Los Angeles, Vanessa's work includes fashion editorials, advertisting, catalogues, commercials, music videos and red carpets.
Her clients include GQ, Rolling Stone, Men's Journal, Elle, New York Magazine, Women's Health, Men's Fitness, Entertainment Weekly, Shape, Wired, O Magazine, TOMS, Penguin, Motorola, Fiat and Oakley.
